ALEISHA
Aleisha is a caring, energetic and social companion. She enjoys cooking, going on day trips, shopping, cleaning, taking walks and having great conversations with her clients. Aleisha loves helping others and bringing joy to their lives through her animated and bubbly personality. Cooking is one of her passions and she enjoys creating healthy and delicious meals for people. Aleisha finds great satisfaction in providing companionship, support and assistance to enable her clients' independence and wellbeing. Aleisha’s background where she has got her professional foundation has been in aged care.
ANDREW
Andrew is a welcoming and helpful individual. He completed university qualifications in psychology and science along with years of practical life experience that allow him to assist others. He enjoys making life easier for people through helping with social outings, appointments, shopping, and organizing. His interests include sports, movies, food, gardening, traveling, and reading which give him diverse knowledge and perspectives to relate to others. Andrew is a relaxed person who aims to make a positive impact in the lives of those he assists.
ANDREW
Andrew is a compassionate soul who leads with his heart. He has a passion for connecting with nature through activities like camping, fishing, and rodeo bull riding. Andrew loves spending time outdoors and supporting his children in their various sports and activities. He has an empathetic nature and strives to uplift others through kindness and understanding. Andrew believes in leading by example and teaching important values like hard work, perseverance, and good sportsmanship. Those who know Andrew describe him as caring, humble, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
BLAKE
Blake has many passions and interests, in his free time he enjoys various hobbies and activities. He loves cooking, especially meal prepping healthy recipes. He is also an artist, specializing in oil painting and airbrushing of miniature figurines used in Warhammer games. Gardening is another hobby he enjoys, both growing vegetables in his garden and practicing permaculture techniques. Blake is an avid cyclist, enjoying both road cycling and riding the rail trails for fun. He also likes spending time outdoors camping and fishing, especially fly fishing. Blake approaches life with curiosity and a desire to learn new skills and try different experiences. Blake has served 5 years in the navy and 10 years as a hairdresser/barber.
BROOKE
Brooke is a caring and compassionate woman who enjoys making connections with people. She has a creative spirit and is always looking for new things to try. Brooke loves to cook and craft with others, and she has taught herself skills like crocheting and sewing. She also has a passion for animals of all kinds thanks to her background working with horses and in boarding kennels.
In her spare time, Brooke enjoys riding horses and spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies help fuel her nurturing nature and desire to help others. Brooke's creativity, compassion, and zest for life make her an inspiring person to be around.
CLARE
Clare is a dedicated disability advocate and support worker. She holds a diploma in individualized
support and helps people with a disability reach their goals. Clare loves hiking, outdoor activities and
participating in strong woman contests. Clare aims to empower and motivate others. Her positive
and can-do attitude inspires those around her.
EMMA
Emma has over five years of experience working in the disability sector. She holds a Certificate IV in Disability, she is an advocate for her clients and enjoys supporting her clients to experience new things in the community and be role models. Emma loves being around animals and cooking for others. She is an avid gardener who loves walking and spreading happiness like sunshine. Emma's clients describe her as kind, patient, and fun-loving with a great sense of humor. She finds joy in helping people discover what they are capable of and supporting them to lead fulfilling lives.
HELEN
Helen enjoys a quiet life filled with simple pleasures. She loves taking walks with her Jack Russell Terrier Ozzie, crocheting and reading books. An avid cook, Helen is always trying new recipes. She is a member of the Wangaratta and District Sports Fishing Club and enjoys camping trips and being in nature. Music also brings her joy, particularly live shows. In her spare time, Helen pursues her hobby of photography, capturing moments with her camera. Helen's gentle and kind spirit finds fulfillment in spending time with loved ones and engaging in the activities that feed her soul.
JEAN
Jean has dedicated her career to helping those in need. For many years, she worked in the welfare sector specializing in drug, alcohol, and mental health issues. Jean is known for her kind and good-natured personality, although she can also be assertive when advocating for people who need support. In her personal life, Jean enjoys various artistic pursuits like painting with watercolors and oils. She also likes spending time outdoors walking, bike riding, and just generally helping others in any way she can. Jean's friends and family describe her as a caring, creative soul with a passion for making the world a little brighter.
JESSMAY
Jess has a Certificate IV in disability. She has a kind, patient, and understanding personality shaped by her values of hard work and service to others. These qualities help Jess form meaningful connections and aid her in helping and serving people in need. In her free time, Jess enjoys getting outside in nature. She loves going camping, swimming, water skiing, and simply relaxing outdoors. While Jess appreciates a lazy day indoors watching movies, she truly comes alive when spending time outside. Jess also enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Bonnie and Pippa. She takes them for walks and teaches them tricks to keep them entertained. Being outdoors with her dogs brings Jess a great deal of joy.

LEE
Lee is an avid fan of pop culture, including music, comics, movies, video games, sports, and books. Lee enjoys diving deep into topics that interest him, learning as much trivia and history as possible. He spends many nights attending trivia competitions with friends where he can test out his knowledge of pop culture facts and details. Lee's encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture spans several decades, with a particular focus on the 1980s and 1990s. He enjoys sharing his passions with others and recommending his favorite comics, albums, movies, and books to like-minded friends. Lee's favorite pastimes involve immersing himself in the worlds created by his favorite musicians, authors, filmmakers, and game designers.
LACHLAN
Lachlan is a personable and fun-loving guy who enjoys creative pursuits. Art, story writing, filmmaking, and animation drawing are among his passions, along with writing and illustrating comic books, and role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons. He loves exploring his imagination through different creative mediums and sharing his work with others. Lachlan brings a sense of joy, humor, and wonder to everything he creates. Lockie is empathetic, patient and looks for ways to empower others.
LYN
Lyn is an approachable, kind, and passionate person with a gift for connecting with others. She has a wealth of experience working with and relating to people from all walks of life. Over the course of her career in fields like education, allied health, and travel, Lyn has demonstrated an ability to listen deeply and make people feel at ease. Whether working with children or adults, Lyn brings warmth, patience, and a sense of humour that helps put others at ease. She approaches each new person she meets with genuine curiosity and a desire to understand their unique story. Lyn's calm yet engaging presence makes her a natural at forging connections and building rapport. Lyn enjoys exercise, sport, travelling, food, socialising and being with her family.
MELISSA
Melissa is a compassionate and dedicated support worker. She has a natural talent for connecting with and understanding others. Melissa enjoys helping people achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Melissa has a personal connection to the disability community through her aunt, which inspired her to pursue a career as a support worker. She finds great satisfaction in supporting her participants and seeing them accomplish things they love. Melissa's kind and chatty nature puts the people she works with at ease. She approaches each person with care, understanding, and a desire to make a difference in their lives.

KERRI
Kerri works in Administration at North East Care Connect. Previously, she worked in the
employment services sector, helping disadvantaged job seekers find work. In her spare time, Kerri enjoys coaching youth netball across North East Victoria, whilst still playing the sport
herself. Dedicating more than 20 years and over 200 games at the Milawa Football Netball
Club she was awarded her Life Membership in 2022. She loves to travel and enjoys caravaning with her family. Life outside of work revolves around spending quality time with her loved ones.
NIKKI
Nikki is the founder and CEO of North East Care Connect, an organization that provides services, support, and opportunities for people with disabilities. NIkki has over 20 years of experience working in the disability sector. Her passion for helping people with disabilities live fuller lives stems from her own family's experiences.
Nikki started North East Care Connect with the goal of empowering individuals with disabilities. Under her leadership, the organization has helped hundreds of individuals through programs and individualized support. She believes people with disabilities have so much to offer the world if given the right tools and chances. Her vision is for North East Care Connect to continue growing so it can support and empower even more people.
Every day, Nikki is inspired by the resilience, courage, and creativity of the individuals and families served by North East Care Connect. She strives to provide the resources and advocacy that help people with disabilities thrive.
NIkki is the first to say she may not have all the answers, but she does have the experience, passion and a desire to make a difference. Together we can build something truly impactful that improves lives and changes perspectives. Let's get this conversation started!
